In addition to our other implant services, Dr. Kari Ann Hong provides full mouth implant supported dentures. These fixed teeth replacements are excellent solutions for those who don't want the inconvenience or hassle of traditional removable dentures.
This procedure requires the placement of 4-6 implants on either the upper or lower jaw (or both), which can be done at our Thousand Oaks office. We then allow four months for the implants to heal and integrate with your bone. During this time period, we provide you with traditional provisional dentures as temporary treatment. Once the implants have healed, we take impressions and have our lab make a custom set of teeth that are attached to the implants anchors. Finally, the prosthetic teeth are adjusted and delivered to you at our office.
Of course, this is a lengthy procedure and requires an extended consultation between you and Dr. Kari Ann Hong.
